Agriculture Services

Imagery and geospatial analysis play a crucial role in supporting the agriculture industry by providing accurate and timely information for informed decision making. Farmers require reliable insights into crop health, soil moisture, and weather patterns to optimize yields, reduce input costs, and improve resource management.

By analyzing high-resolution imagery and spectral data, farmers can identify crop stress, nutrient deficiencies, and other issues that can negatively impact crop growth and yield. Armed with this information, farmers can adjust their inputs, such as fertilizer or irrigation, to ensure that their crops receive the necessary nutrients to thrive. These are just a couple of the many precision agriculture methods that the right data delivered in the right way can enable.

Another benefit of imagery and geospatial analysis is the ability to monitor and predict weather patterns. By analyzing weather data and using predictive models, farmers can make informed decisions about planting, harvesting, and other critical activities. This information can help farmers optimize their crop yields and reduce the risk of weather-related losses, such as drought or flooding. Additionally, farmers can use this information to optimize irrigation schedules and other resource management activities to ensure efficient use of water and other resources.

Our imagery, geospatial analysis, and GIS technical services can provide farmers with valuable insights or tools to make informed decisions, increase productivity, and maximize profits in the agriculture industry. Contact us to learn more.

Our Services
SATELLITE IMAGERY ACQUISITION
We can help you determine and acquire the right imagery for your project. Imagery types include multi-spectral, hyperspectral, panchromatic, RGB, and near-infrared (NIR). Our team has experience acquiring and applying imagery from Digital Globe, Landsat, USGS and other imagery sources to various projects. We are also a Planet.com partner which provides access to multiple revisits per day of locations around the world with up to 72cm resolution.
AERIAL IMAGERY COLLECTION
Aerial imagery can be collected from manned or unmanned platforms and deliver a variety of data types and qualities ranging from simple aerial photography to 3D mapping and LIDAR for accurate terrain modeling. We can work with you to determine the best sensor and platform to meet the project needs and work with aerial collectors to acquire the right imagery and transform that imagery into the layers and data sets that you need.
GEOSPATIAL DATA DEVELOPMENT
Our team can help you find relevant local, State, Federal or open source geospatial data that may already exist to enable your project while also generating new data from imagery or from other sources like federal, state and local government policies and regulations.
INTEGRATION, ANALYSIS & PRODUCTION
Most projects require a mix of data integration followed by analysis of that data to produce visuals or project documents for planners and decision makers. Regardless of the life cycle stage your project is in, or whether you need digital, virtual or physical interaction with your project’s data, we can help you integrate, tailor and visualize your project’s imagery and geospatial data to best support your project planning and decision making processes.
CONSULTING & TRAINING
If your needs are more general, or you want help improving your own imagery and geospatial workflows or GIS data architectures, our team can help. We can work with you to document your current data and analysis workflow, assess capability gaps and develop recommendations on tools and methods to help you achieve efficiency and quality improvements. We can also provide training to you or your team on imagery and GIS tools and tasks.
GIS TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION
Our team has experience applying Design Thinking, Agile methods and innovation management to pursue continuous improvement. We can apply our team’s blended experience using the latest commercial and open source technologies and methods for performing imagery and geospatial analysis to help you explore innovative opportunities to apply emerging technologies and ensure that you gain and maintain an advantage over your competitors.
