As the Fall emerges over the rolling fields of Virginia, one season comes to a close and new one approaches in the realm of agriculture and forestry. This Fall marks a pivotal time for our startup, Pixelar Solutions, where we will absorb what we have learned through research, development, and testing and translate those lessons into energy to fuel our mission of helping users of imagery data to spend more time focused on timely decision-making. To achieve this, we are dedicated to leveraging satellite data, geospatial analysis, and innovative design to support industries deeply rooted in the soil.
In 2023, our company embarked on an ambitious venture, collaborating closely with Virginia-based universities under a grant funded by the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC) to push the boundaries of satellite data processing and analysis. Our shared commitment to pioneering new methodologies has unlocked the potential for revolutionary change within the agricultural and forestry sectors. Our combined team has been focused on unearthing insights from pixels that intentionally depart from the conventional norms, driving us closer to a future where remote sensing systems and growers can work harmoniously together.
